My little shop is open for business!

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz….. That’s what I should be doing right now. Sleeping. I need it pretty bad right now. But I’m just too stoked on this not to share. Katch Studios is open for business!

So we (husband and I) built a reclaimed barn wood wall to display my stationary and vintage finds. It looks kind of small in the photo but it’s actually seven feet tall. I finished those faux bamboo chairs and this rattan set up front. There’s a blue three-drawer dresser in the back that’s newly repainted and lots of vintage housewares and home decor.

We built this new spindle shelf to display more stuff. I’ve got Andrea’s handmade pillows of Kutz.Paper.Scissors., my 8×10 prints, and gift tags on it. Actually, I was hoping to get a lot more stuff in this space but babies, jobs, missing husbands (lame-o work trips) seemed to take up more of my time. Blah, blah, blah – excuses, I know! So make sure to stop by and check it out for new stuff! I’ll be blogging more about it too. I know you’re just dying for my next post. 😉

  1. Wow, what a cute place! I love it. It's always been a dream of mine to own a small brick and mortar like this. Next time I'm in SoCal (I travel there sometimes for work stuff) I'll have to try to make a stop. 🙂

  2. Hey guys, Thanks so much! I'm excited. Now I just have to quit my day job to spend more time on the shop! I've got a dresser in the works. I hope I can get it done soon!
