Hutch makeover

This was one of my first projects in my new house. I refinished this hutch while I was eight months pregnant – don’t worry, I did it with a mask and well ventilated garage ๐Ÿ˜‰ I sanded, painted and added new hardware. I love this piece. It had so many uses. When we remodeled the kitchen, this became our temporary kitchen. We fit the microwave, toaster oven, plates, glasses, utensils, food and anything else that we used on a daily basis. (the coffee pot was in the bathroom ๐Ÿ˜‰ I could live a very simple, minimal life with just this piece in a small one-room cabin in the middle of nowhere. But my new kitchen is pretty nice too! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  1. I really like this hutch. I'm redoing one of my own and would love to know the name of the color you used. I think it might suit mine as well!

    thank you!

  2. Oh jeez. I would love to tell you but I can't. I'm not trying to hide anything – I just don't know! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I mix colors a lot and I don't even have the cans I used for that project. I try to re-use everything, save money and not throw anything away. Sometimes my husband thinks I'm a little crazy. He's getting use to it though. My quirks and I aren't going anywhere! Hehe…
